Should know something tomorrow. I think the promoter was looking at the insurance risk. Its private land, so he has to carry a policy. All the race cars have to have all the safety stuff, so he isn't sure how a Raptor would fit. I think it will be ok since it won't be a race, but a guided run.

Is this the BRT race? If so i will be out there racing in it!

I was talking about the EDR race. The BRT race is the next weekend.

I've been trying to get a raptor run together with John C, after the EDR race.

If I don't do the Rental Car Rally (Austin to New Orleans). Then I plan on heading out to the BRT race to spectate. I don't think that the guy I race with will be able to turn his 10 car around in a week. Hopefully by next year, everyone can sit down and plan out a schedule that allows Texas racers to race 6-8 races without having them stacked up.

is it just for trucks and buggies etc or will there be bike and quad classes?

there will be a bike and quad race before the trucks and buggies. 65 Mile loop two or three laps I think. I plan on racing my 650R

First thing, why is the town called "No Trees"???

And I live in San Angelo and would be willing to make a trip, if we can get all the details ironed out. It is only 3 and half hours.

Because there are No Trees...

So, the race promoter has not scheduled enough time to do a run. BUT. He does need people out on course to help with disabled race vehicles, and things of that nature.

If anyone wants to come out for that, you can watch the race for free, help out, and probably get to do a little driving on course.

Having a GPS and VHF radio would help, but isn't a requirement.

Also, if your interested in racing a bike or quad, there will be a 130 mile bike and quad race Saturday morning.

The promoter said that he will plan on allowing enough time for a Raptor run at the next race (probably January).

Sorry about this, but he is receptive to the idea.
