Wish I could answer your question but I am a lurker for this screen still. Maybe try posting same question on f150 forum:OK I got mine installed and I'm messing with it, one bad thing so far - I am getting NO sound out of the unit via carplay... WTF. Any ideas? Actually it is sound out of the unit it seems - satellite and am fm radio work fine. YouTube TV gets no sound either, nor does anything via carplay, siri etc.
Also, somehow I created a PIN and now everytime the unit boots up, I have to enter a PIN which is super annoying and I can't figure out how to remove it.
Yep, this was the issue. If you go from a phoenix to this unit, make sure you remove the cable that goes to the cd player...I think I may have figured it out... will report back when I know for sure, but the short story is there was an additional cable to my old phoenix unit that I did not remove... I hope by removing that (it was plugged to the CD player...) the system will work as it should. Fingers crossed...
Well the screen and new processors are mikes better. The interface of the phoenix with Sergey’s firmware was really good though. I’ll need to **** around with this a bit but everything works. Youtube Tv looks great.Nice….you liking this setup? I’m sure way better than Phoenix
Not sure but it isn't HD at all... this is the camera though, not the screen.Whats the resolution on the backup camera? I'm having serious 4K envy of the Wife's 2022 GLE. Or am I confusing units and this is not the one you HAVE to swap out?
