I've spent a lot of time browsing this forum since buying my truck in May of 2020, and I finally have a reason to call upon the collective wisdom of all the great members!
Truck has 13,700 miles, bought it brand new, have had a few other minor issues that all got cleared up. Yesterday, I was leaving a freshly groomed dirt parking lot with fresh rocks laid out on top. Some rocks and mud were stuck to my tires, so naturally I accelerated to get them off of the tires. I've taken my truck off-roading plenty of times and have certainly put it through more abuse than leaving a muddy/rocky parking lot.
About 30 miles later I tried switching to an alternate drive mode, and was not able to do so. When I try to change modes a message pops up on the dash that says "Terrain Management not available". I did some searching before posting and was not able to find much information, other than one of the sensors on the shocks may need to be replaced. I'm able to switch steering modes and I can still place the vehicle in 2wd, 4A, 4H, 4L, and I can still use the rear locker. Everything else seems to be functioning just fine. I crawled around under the truck and checked for any obvious signs of damaged wires/electrical connections and did not see anything. I also double checked the electrical connection to each of the shocks, and followed those wires as far as I could see, still no damage present anywhere.
Have anyone else experienced this issue? If so, what was the resolution?
