Talked out of buying a 2021 raptor

I called my local dealership who sold me my 2020 raptor and the salesman told me not to buy now. I was willing to pay 10 g above MSRP on a 2021 they have in stock, 78g plus 10. He told me to hold off a year and talked me out of it. What the hell, should I still buy it at 10 g above MSRP? I have called around in California and they want 10 to 30 above MSRP. This is my 2020 Raptor and not a Prius…I’m torn any thoughts??

Also if you find a lower ADM or none and sell your 2020 for good money there’s no reason to wait.
Chip shortage will last.

Lol sounds like your salesman has the truck sold to someone else for 15-20k over and is cutting bait and selling you on why you should wait ( you realize this chip/COVID thing is going to take more than a year to get caught up right? )

Trade in value is at a all time high. If you're trading your 2020 in on the new one you might want to look at the numbers. Pay $10k ADM might not be so bad if the dealer is giving you a extremely high price for yours.
