Delete it, that way you don't have to post questions three years from now about how to replace it when it cracks, fades or starts rattling because a clip is broken.

From behind is where every other F150 will see your Raptor...
I agree, delete it. Been around enough fords to know that a large piece of plastic on the tailgate is destined fade, crack or become loose over time. I do like the way it looks but that is why i didnt get it on my 17. Well if you plan on keeping the truck for many years. If you think youll keep it short term as in 5 or so years then get what you want. I plan on keeping mine a very long time. Either way enjoy your new ride!

That's funny. Do you realize there are dozens of pieces of plastic trim on the Raptor? Even the hood and fenders are glued on composite pieces. If you don't like plastic trim, the raptor is definitely the wrong truck for you.

It's painted plastic too. Just care for it like any other plastic piece and it will be fine. Donthe ceramic coat and it's even better.

Yup, but the tailgate piece on my 02 explorer, cracked falling off, the tailgate piece on my old aviator, cracked twice. Trim piece on old expedition, cracked and faded. So let me know how it works out for you in a few years. Hopefully the raptor will be different, my experience says, not likely.

You must abuse your vehicles or leave them outside baking in the sun all day. Mine stay inside my garage all day until I get home from work.

You'll probably have better luck with a platinum F-150 because they chrome paint all the trim pieceses.
