Sync will stop and restart, but only when I drive a certain road.

SYNC 4 on my gen 2 regularly locks up if I activate Apple CarPlay while I'm connected to my home wifi and then drive away. Right at the point where the phone data switches over to the cellular from the wifi, it has the problem.

i have my carplay die in a particular area all the time as well, it is quite bizarre. connection gets choppy, then ultimately it crashes and reboots.

Yesterday I passed through the Sync Triangle again. No issue on the way out of town. On the trip back the sync reset about 2 miles from the place it typically happens. This was after traveling about 180 miles total for the day with no issue.

Hmm... I’d suggest expanding your scope of friends to include someone with an iPhone, hook it up w/ CarPlay and roll through there. see if sync drops similarly. I wouldn’t rule out a protocol bug.
