My 3.3 was updated to the 3.4 version last night. Was set to automatically update when one was available. I don’t like the daytime color scheme. How do you set it to a night time display full time.

So your truck received it OTA and downloaded and installed it? That’s cool. I tried manually OTA but no go. Ford told me things were down at the time, um ok. Interesting to hear OTA does work.

No, and yours will auto-update or you can check for updates. Need to be home and connect the truck to your wifi. This is for those of us who have 3.0-3.3.

Also, the USB I sent to a member worked perfectly for him too, so that's 3 trucks now that are done with it. I'll have it back tomorrow. If anyone wants to do theirs, shoot me a PM and I'll overnight it to you with an overnight label. Cost round trip is about $30.

I'm interested in getting the USB, I just started a PM with you. Thanks.

I was surprised when I cranked the truck up and the screen was different. Screen confirmed the new update had installed properly. I just have auto install updates turned on with the house WiFi listed for updates. I do not know how it is done when the truck was turned off. How ever it works I’m cool with it saves me from down loading and installing it myself.

Does anyone know if I can used the 3.4 update I was able to download for my 2019 GT350 will work in my 2018 Raptor, still at 3.0 and the website says I am at the latest version? I suppose I could just try it and see what happens but I am not sure if Ford software is smart enough to know if it should allow the update or not. Anyone try updating Sync from an update file for another Ford vehicle?

I used the Cyan labs upgrade from 3.3 to 3.4 and then used the Ford site to upgrade to the latest 3.4 version. I thought for sure the Ford update would have balked at the previous Cyan labs install.

My 2020 auto updated a couple days ago... I really don't like the day mode. Too generic. set it to nightmode as I find the darker blues more rich and less "cheap" (same before update). Haven't really noticed anything else.

Just thought I would update. I finally got my 2017 to take the Cyanlabs version of 3.3 with updated maps. I wasnt ready to try 3.4 yet. Figured 3.3 might be more stable and at least it has updated maps which is all I really wanted. My problem was my flash drive. I was using a Sandisk 64gb formatted correctly to exfat and it kept saying USB Error when inserted. Finally decided to try a 16gb Kingston and it worked first try. Took about 25 mins to install.

I noticed a function loss with the cyan labs 3.4 / 2017. use the steering wheel to summon siri and the prompt comes, and then immediately goes away. Anyone else notice this?
