Question for those who have installed the new download.

Was it worth it?

Did you lose anything that you liked?

What do you think are the best overall gains from doing it?

I`m one of the many that are weary of just dumping the update like on my iPhone which reminds me every 15 seconds that there is an update available. For some reason it`s hard to find what the entire update will include,remove,change and when you try to do something you have done before and it does not work it`s panic time.
Unfortunately I do not have any kids in the house that can figure this stuff out in 5 minutes or less. My heads full of all of the lyrics from the 70`s on up and a lot of useless information

I did mine yesterday, it took about 8 minutes from a USB. The Ford site said it would take 1/2 an hour. I haven't seen any differences yet. At least it was clean and easy to do.

I did notice that my seatbelt gong now goes off when I’m just sitting in the parked truck. Reckon I’ll have to bust out the Forscan and turn it off again.

After the update I can not longer search or browse by artist, song, anything on my USB library. So now have a USB playlist is completely worthless.

It just says something like "Currently Unavailable" IIRC. Even with the truck on or off or in park it wont let me browse/search any longer.

Has anyone else had this issue or know of a fix?

Try just removing the flash drive while the power is on, and then re-insert it. I'm pretty sure that has nothing to do with the fact that you did an update. Mine has done the same thing twice in the last month, with no update being done.
