It’s so much faster to do the usb update , just down load the life, unzip on a usb and stick it in.

So this started popping up on my 19 and I can link it to my house WiFi I guess my only question is does the truck need to be on while doing it or at least the electronics? If I go the USB router do I get the file from Ford site and then just plug into truck and update? My radio has been acting weird this past week on my preprogrammed FM stations now the #1 station takes me to an AM channel and then on Thursday all the FM stations started fading bad and I could hardly listen to them so not sure if that is because an update is needed which I wouldn't think it is or if the radio is going on the fritz.

Was it worth it?

Did you lose anything that you liked?

What do you think are the best overall gains from doing it?

I`m one of the many that are weary of just dumping the update like on my iPhone which reminds me every 15 seconds that there is an update available. For some reason it`s hard to find what the entire update will include,remove,change and when you try to do something you have done before and it does not work it`s panic time.
Unfortunately I do not have any kids in the house that can figure this stuff out in 5 minutes or less. My heads full of all of the lyrics from the 70`s on up and a lot of useless information

I like the interface much better. Also, some functions seem faster. Didn't lose any features.

Try using the front door

Agree, the front door usually has quite a bit more room and tends to be a safer exit.
