sync 1 to sync 3 upgrade

Hello , has anyone done a sync 1 4inch to a sync 3 8 inch screen upgrade and can help me with a few answers ?
- any issues whatsoever ?
- did the raptor boot screen remain ?
- is it worth it ? over a tesla style android screen

You cannot upgrade Sync 1.

Sync 2 Raptors (2013-2014) can be upgraded to Sync 3.

what i meant to say is sync 3 4inch screen to sync 3 8 inch screen , but now i’m feeling that it will be cooler to go to an aftermarket screen like auto tech ,

The 09-12 F150s have a different electrical architecture than the 13-14 F150s.
