Switching from Gen 2 to an F250?

A 7.3 liter gas F250 with some real shocks and springs, and a Whipple... this really could be the best of both worlds.

I came from a 2017 F350 Platinum and while I miss being the biggest truck on the road and a couple other little options that the Raptor didnt have, I couldnt imagine going back as a daily driver. In the future I am hoping to pick up one for work truck but currently need a bigger garage then :)
I need a bigger garage anyway. I mean really who doesn’t? They tell me it’s a three car but two of them must be Subaru or Mini Cooper stalls I guess...

Many thanks for the input, everyone. Have any of you added those Deaver (or any other kind) high capacity springs to your Raptor? Does it impact ride quality a lot? Another reason i'm leaning toward keeping the Raptor is that I ordered it exactly how I wanted (Avalanche grey, 802a, no sunroof, no decals, etc.) so it's a little unique in that I didn't have to do anything to it when it arrived other than adding the Rigid fog-light kit to it and the paint protection film on the front, hood, fenders, mirrors. Thanks again!

I added deaver +3s and love it. Rides better, and the chatter/fishtail over bumps was almost eliminated. If you put a lot in the bed, you can go with the deaver HD. I cant imagine you would regret either one. Keep in mid you will also need a bump stop solution, I just did pads, not full bump stops.

My 2 Cents: If you're anything like me (and many others) that the same itch that is causing you to look at the F250 is going to cause you to look at replacing that F250 18 months after you buy it. So, if the F250 fits what you need in a truck and you feel like a change, go for it, but DON'T kid yourself that it's going to be a 10 year truck.

(My '16 Silverado Work Truck spec (lowest chevy spec) which I bought because I loved the simplicity and had convinced myself I didn't want all the options because I was keeping if for the long haul and it was more to go wrong and... 2 years later, I have a Raptor.)

Why? With all the issues I am having with the raptor, I am also in this same boat. I found an f350 diesel that I am going to look at. It should last longer than the mess I have now. I am just tired of the excuse that the rattling is normal and acceptable.

Texrun just look up some forums or youtube reviews of SDs running Carli kits. their suspension setups are top notch and I've seen them hang with raptors off road. it's pretty impressive stuff, especially since the SD is such a heavy truck but it's night and day when running a Carli kit and 37s.
