Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you need to remove the actual sway bar. Just the link between the sway bar and lower control arms, correct?

Well, then you have a hunk of metal hanging there swinging around.

When I did my ranger I only disconnected one link to see if I liked it (didn't, do a lot of highway driving and with our winds it was sketchy at best)

So I'd say try it out to see if you like it by just removing a link, if you like it, take everything off. If you don't. Reconnect the link.

The Raptor can't be compared to a custom pre-runner... especially considering 90% of owners use them ON-ROAD, when a sway bar could mean the difference between maintaining and losing control in an emergency.

Somehow my passenger side link of the swaybar fell off...you don't need to remove the whole thing.

TT's measure travel in feet not inches...

Yes, I mean the ford raptor in order to pass al those regulation to be street legal it has to use a sway bar, but trophy trucks are 90% off road than onroad at baja 1000, so do they still use sway bar to be allow to be on the road on a baja 1000?

So I was wondering if they still use sway bar on the front

Not sure we are on the same page here. I removed the bar that connects to the LCA, then disconnected the top connection of the same bar to the sway bar. The ********* sway bar that connects the right and left sides is still in place. That thing is firmly in place and isn't going anywhere. I want to know if its ok to leave the black bar in place.

So a sway bar off is like a TCS off in a corvette ZR1, if you turn it off is gonna be fun, until you wreck your car.
