Well... 75% of my intake/exhaust upgrade is sitting in the shop! Just waiting on the Volant.

Big thanks again to Chris over at Freedom Motorsports!!! Excellent service and great prices!

As of Monday we've started are planting season and I'm still 50-50 on doing the install myself. If I just had some more pictures and it a video wall through, no problem. As it is, I'm sure that I could do it myself, but I know it would probably take me a couple of days of pissing around to do it and with planting, I can't afford the time. I'll probably have someone local install it... Either the dealer or a good exhaust shop.

Video when installed. Been playing with the Raptor out in the field this week. Lots of fun, but I can't WAIT to get the programmer on there and tighten up the shifts and throttle response! Instantaneous acceleration when I stomp the pedal (combined with a noise that'll terrify the neighbors) is going to be sick!

Just an update on the intake for you Jake, your intake is suppose to ship directly from Volant and from what I was told this morning they are waiting on a particular "part" they need for those kits to be able to ship them. Right now I am being told that the estimated ship eta would be 5 more days at this point. I apologize for the delay on it shipping and I will keep you up to date as I receive updates. I was under the impression when we processed your order that Volant had it in stock ready to ship, which is obvious now that that wasn't the case.

No worries! In a week or so I should have a better idea of where we're at with the planting and what I've got for time.

In the mean time I've got a Bak cover coming from Morrie and a couple other small mods I can do in my spare time.

Modding IS an addiction, planting season or not, I KNOW it is hard to stay away from "playin'" with the Raptor...lol

Just pushed a dead tree through the radiator of our front end loader. Guess my mod of the week is replacing a radiator assembly... Anybody got any good deals on a hood and front grill assembly for a Case 2094 tractor???

Doh!!!

Haha...

So I called "Exhaust Pros" today about getting my pipes installed. Apparently they don't do headers, but once the headers are on will do the exhaust no prob... Yeah... Like I'm not going to have the same shop that puts the headers in do the exhaust at the same time. Asked them who around did install headers. They didn't have a clue... Something tells me it's a good thing they don't install headers. For the safety of my truck. Hahaha.
