so what happens if a member here, has the same username as a member over there?

in order for any posts to merge accounts, the username does not matter. it's up to the registered email address. if there's a dupe name, we will have to work that out.

Yea, it you have the same email on svtoffroad as here, all posts, pms, and threads you made/had there will automatically merge with your user name here. The only issue I have that BIRD mentioned is importing everything over may to a little while to figure out as we are a 3.0 vb forum and svto was a 4.0 vb forum. I am looking into it of course.

Simple, take FRF offline for a hour or two and upgrade to v4. Trying to do it while the site is still accessing the database is a nightmare. Same thing goes for the merger. Pick a date and let all members know the sites will be down during the merger.
