Thanks bud. Yeah, the dovetail is a commitment and wouldn't be for everyone. It was nice for me, being so close to SVC's shop, being able to have the pro's do the dovetail...so I know it was done right and clean. My wife says she needs to get used to it...it might not be for everyone but I'm diggin it!

Finally found someone I was comfortable with cutting the bedsides. Couldn't be happier.

What are you running for your license plate light?

el cheapo PILOT CZ-224W license plate light that I found at the local autoparts store. It's actually much brighter than I though it would be but is made of nothing and must be properly sealed before the install.

How difficult is this to install? Is there any cutting required?

You don't have to but you'll end up cutting the rear frame horns.. First pic is before and second is after cutting the horns..

Very easy install
I would recommend cutting the bottom portion off after install for a cleaner look. I did so on mine, gave it a cleaner look.

OK, so I got the bumper installed and now I'm looking to hack up the frame to clean it up. Since I've got more tools than smarts, can I use a plasma torch on this or is that a no no? Unhook the negative from the battery and have at it?

That is perfectly fine and way faster. I would've done it but I didn't have a torch at the time. Yes just disconnect the battery!
