Lol,

This won't be a secret for long, and it's way more than just a part or addition to a Raptor so don't worry, your future purchasing power is still safe. To give you a hint, I'm bored of the Smurf.

Tired of the smurf lol, how's the air up there? Haha

I was very tempted to go with +4 fenders on the front just so I could have the option of going with a crazy LT lit down the road but I know my Condo board would FLIP the F out when they saw it in my spot. The Friggin old people already freak out with the stock setup I know the +2 fenders and Bedsides will give them enough of a shock.

It is always nice to see each company pushing and coming up with new things to challenge the others. Lets be honest we have LOTS of options. If you were willing to really cut things up you could be running a LT kit for many years now. We are now getting into more refined setups that are much more custom to the raptor and as such faster to fab onto the truck and easier to tune thanks to the testing done and knowledge shared with each other.

I can not say I will never go LT but it is a tough decision due to lack of a proper shop near me being the biggest hurdle and second not having close enough places to use it often enough. But kits that are pretty much bolt on do make it very tempting.

Thanks to SVC, RR, RPG all having very well designed bolt on/minor fab work dual setups I can at least see going that far shortly to match up with my RXT rear. Would it be weird if I ran Icon rear, Fox coilover and a king bypass up front.. lol

Biggest thing is that with the cost of the RCV Axels in stock length its almost a no brainer to go with a kit that adds a little more when you consider you are already spending pretty much the same on the axels stock length or LT length. If you look at what it costs to do a Mid travel setup with UCA, LCA, Secondary, Steering knuckle and Tie rods and then add in a set of RCV axels its really not that much more to get a Long Travel kit. Your fab costs go up more but the cost jump is not that crazy when you break it all out.

Ok so who wants to sell me a full kit at 50% off..

Lol,

sounds to me like you're going to build something fully tubed with more horse power. if you're getting tired of the smurf there is no way in hell you will downgrade, so that means upgrading to something bigger and badder than the smurf which may mean full tube no stock raptor parts to build off of.. just my guess cause SVC doesnt do any half ass shit. if my guess is wrong I can't wait to see what you come up with Jerrett.

Update for you all. Well we went back to the drawing board a little bit on the 4wd long travel. Since we started talking about doing it, people have been calling and asking when the 4wd long travel kit is coming and can it be installed somewhere other than my shop? This got us thinking, how can we make this a kit so someone with beginner fab skills could do on their own. This lead us to make a fixture that mounts to the lower A-arm pivots to allow for exact location of where the UCA and Upper shock mounts need to go. We also redesigned the way the upper shock mounts locate. We did this so you will retain as much room as possible to work on your engine bay, and clear the brake booster on the passenger side. these pics show it tacked up only and with some generic misalignments in that aren't the correct size, but you all get the idea.

Our thinking is this. We will weld up all the shock mounts, LCA's, UCA's, and uprights so the only thing you should have to do is cut off the factory coil-bucket, bolt up the fixture and weld on the supplied UCA and shock mounts in the correct location via the fixture location. We also noticed that we have a ton of room for an even bigger shock than the 4.0 pictured. We think it would be overkill, but a 4.5in would clear no problem if you gotta have the biggest.

I'll post more pics once it's all welded on to the frame. We still have a lot of plating to do and some uca gusseting.

Sorry for lagging on this, we just wanted to get it right the first time.
