Just saw a bulletin at the dealer today for a technical service bulletin that states 15-21 f150 Vista roof panel binding repair procedure. Looks simple to do replacing the track guides but looks as though the issue with 15-20s still is occuring on the 21s :banghead: . I've done a few at dealer there not hard to do just tedious a little. Oh well I got the roof ordered. Like others have said I think if you open the panel often and rinse your tracks and drains and lube the tracks with ptfe you shouldn't have issues.

Would something like this work? I am thinking of cleaning up my wife sunroof and keeping a bottle on hand when the truck comes

$2000 for parts? If you break the glass maybe, but my total repair cost $300.

It only occurs if you don’t maintain the seals. It’s a large, heavy piece of glass that is exposed to the elements. If the grease on the seals dries out, the roof opening panel sticks. In the event of an obstruction, the brackets are designed to break before the glass panel for obvious reasons.

The correct and only approved grease to use is Krytox.

Hmmm wonder why the Ford manual states to use ptfe.
