I love how they stuffed the tubing so close to the sheetmetal. Especially in the A-pillar section. Phenomenal work it looks like. I wish my 8pt cage on my Lightning was down like this. FFS

The Paris-Dakar used to be (along imho with the Safari Rally) the greatest race on the planet... I am glad it is making a comeback, albeit 5000 miles west of the traditional race course.

The 15 day 5,000 mile 2011 Dark Rally has ran into its 3rd day.
Sue Meade and the Chileans are off and running with no problems so far. However Sue's Team experienced a hard to trace electrical problem after their grueling tech inspection but was able to start on time! So far Sue's team has advanced 18 spots and the Chileans are running a pole position for their class. I'll keep you updated as the teams send me information.

Glad to hear the Raptors are holding their own.
The coverage on VS is not all that great (IMHO). They spend a lot of time covering the bikes, and way to much time on Robbie Gordon & his Hummer. I liked it better when it was on Speed & was an hour long show.
