Thanks but I have done that multiple times already

Did you use polish? There’s lots of things that glass cleaner won’t remove and just smears around.

Reviving this thread. I never had this issue UNTIL I used Chemical Brothers Hydro Slick on the windshield. On low speeds, it skips. High speed seems fine.

So the best bet is to clean both the windshield and blades with vinegar ?

Clean and clay your windshield. This gets you down to smooth, clean glass. Put in new blades and you’ll be chatter free. I use clear, non sudsing ammonia to clean glass. Mix maybe a quarter cup of ammonia in a gallon of water.

I also use a flat razor to get off anything that the clay bar will not remove. Lube the glass and use the razor at an acute angle on the glass to avoid scratches.

Mine did this new, like first rain since I purchased it. First thing I did was go buy new wiper blades and it hasn't done it since.

It's the stuff in the Rain-x or whatever water repellent washer fluid you are using. I put Rain-x in mine, it does it, but it's worth it. I can be driving through a blinding rainstorm (no coating) and see just fine with the Rain-x. The water beads up so small, the blades aren't lubed up enough to drag smoothly across the glass.
