Eh, maybe not, but there was a lot of that attitude in that thread. I understand it in reference to charity boy, but I hate being lumped in with some generalization of a lazy younger generation, and I think there's a few other "younger" members that would agree.

3 of them are in this thread. I don't know a single you FRF member/owner that fits the stereotype of our generation. Don't get me wrong...there plenty of our generation out there that fit the type...but not on this site.

I used to get this alot in the past. I am only a couple years older but when I bought my own house, vehicles etc I got alot of criticism over my age and being able to afford the things that I could. Sorry I busted my ass to get into a decent job earn my way alot sooner then most....

However there is a large sterotype of kids that daddy buys whatever the flavor of the week is at the time

There's that stereo type, and then there's the one I REALLY can't stand, which is "OK I partied my way through the liberal arts degree that my parents paid for, now where's my 6 figure salary? What? there isn't one? I was LIED to!! OMG"

Hahaha! Yes...the sense of entitlement I referenced in that thread the bozo created asking for this forum to buy him a Raptor.

Yeah except skippy couldn't even make it through skool but he's working on that and his certificates..but help him buy a raptor, please...

Actually, I haven't encountered it much in people our age...could be because I'm from a poor neighborhood in a blue collar town. I see it in the younger ones, my niece and nephew (18, 20) are as entitled as it gets. Completely my sisters fault for giving them everything she didn't have.

I see our friends starting to pull that shit too. When we were kids only the rich kids went to Disney world and only once, maybe twice. If your kid is 6 and has been to Disney three times, you're setting yourself up for disaster.
