Yes, it's all on this forum, the company that Tuned the Prochargers, melted the piston heads.
And then moved on to using the Eaton supercharger compressor, and that lead to "Flame On".

Glad they stayed away from Whipple. LOL

Well to me it doesn't sound like any bottom ends have 'grenaded' under TT boosted applications.... so, are we spreading misinformation or am I missing something?!

All I'm saying is that Whipple has a good track record and so does Rousch( under powered). You mentioned Whipple and most Raptor's owners that have gone to big horsepower have had nothing bad to say about Whipple is all. Good luck and keep doing research. The company that is doing yours should be able to give you some customer feedback?

Just an FYI.

LOL - evidently this forum won't let the name of another very similar forum to be displayed. If you substitute Raptor Forumz (all one word) in for the ******** the thread will appear.

Obviously pushing the limits and having fun doing it...

This is one of the documented failures, I've heard of one other.

This is the link to my Hellion thread, Its a great kit but as others have said it needs a lot of time fettling with the tune to get the best out of it. It makes for an awesome drive. Made 643 RWHP

If i was a heavy off-roader i would probably go with a SC, but im about 60/40 road and wanted to try the TT route.

It makes it a beast of a truck to drive with the TT, the take up rate and throttle response is so much faster than any SC vehicle I have owned.

Im adding the billet oil pump gears now, and a stronger driveshaft and bigger trans cooler.

What ever way you go both SC and TT make the Raptor the truck it should have been!
