Are shock rebuilds covered under warranty?

Figured as much, but if a seal breaks or a malfunction happens, then that's warranty work.

Now i'm on the hunt for a local shop to rebuild and maybe tweak mine for better performance, if thats possible.

Not really a maintenance thing its more of dealer descretion if you are inside your warranty period. If your warranty is gone your sol

Depends on whats wrong, but I would peg it between 200 and 250, plus shipping.
