Look Brendo I'm telling you your info is wrong. I've rebuilt these shocks and have a great contact at FOX. BTW when FOX shotgunned saying that the shocks are at 250psi, that's not totally true. SCAB's are at 220psi front and 250psi rear. SCREW's are 250psi front and rear. SCAB's have different valving than SCREW's also.

BTW great choice on front bumper!

The OEM FOX 2.5 Internal Bypass Shocks have been tested for 10 years or 150,000 miles.

If you have upgraded to the FOX Factory Series 3.0 the recommended services intervals are listed below.

FOX Factory Series products are the very best of the best shocks that FOX produces, cost and maintenance schedules are not at the top of the list when developing these products. *Superior performance, adjustability, and longevity of components are the main focuses here. *We utilized the highest quality of materials and our latest collected racing data when developing Factory Series products. **

The FOX Factory Series 3.0 upgrades are full blown race shocks. Offroad race teams typically service their shocks ever 1000 miles of offroad use.

Recommended Service Intervals;

On road: 50,000 miles
On and offroad: 10,000 miles
Offroad: 1,000 miles

If you want to you can run them until they are wore out then just replace um
so at 150 you'll be buying new shocks when they fail or you can maintain them at 50k

Are the prices for the suspension service from Fox per shock or per pair?

Cause even if it's per shock… 125$ per front is far more economical than paying 800$ per front to replace from the factory.

Thanks to everyone who posted a response --- great info. I think I can rest a bit now knowing that the stock Fox shock system should last a while and does not require routine maintenance. Looking forward to trading in my Toyota FJ Cruiser (for which I have no complaints and is extraordinarily reliable and fun to drive as well) for a super manly vehicle like the Raptor. Best to all.

The correct price is $115 per shock. If you are servicing the front shocks we recommend that you remove the springs using a spring compressor before sending them in. This will save on shipping weight.

Running your OEM 2.5 FOX Internal Bypass shocks for 100,000 miles can be done. To maintain maximum performance we recommend the following intervals.

On road: 50,000 miles
On and offroad: 10,000 miles
Offroad: 1,000 miles

Most raptor owners are only going offroad less than 20% of the miles driven. 50,000 miles is ok.
