The truck does NOT have an alarm. The honk you get when you click the fob twice is only to confirm that all of the doors are shut.

Is it the factory alarm or dealer installed? Mine has a dealer installed alarm and when armed there is a blue led light on the dash where your left knee would be. I need to adjust mine though cause I can thump on the truck pretty hard and not even get a warning beep

So if somebody opens the door forcefully the horn will not honk?

Thanks again..

The only way the alarm goes off is if someone opens the door. They could bust the window and climb in, no problem so long as they climb back out.

Don't think so, but try it. roll down the window, close the door, use the FOB to lock it, and then reach in and open the door. Or sit in the truck, lock it with the FOB and then open the door.

But I have a "dealer" installed alarm, the truck doesn't come with a factory alarm.

Exactly how mine operates, although according to the dealer it will also go off if hit hard enough to smash a window. I have thumped the b post pretty hard but it doesn't do anything. Anybody know where the adjustment is for these things?

Nope. Unless you have the added "dealer" installed alarm, as vanilla_gorilla mentions below.

But I have a "dealer" installed alarm, the truck doesn't come with a factory alarm.

Here is the excerpt from the 2010 Owner's Manual:
2. Press and release [lock symbol on key fob] again within three seconds to confirm that all the doors are closed and locked.

Note: The doors will lock again, the horn will chirp once, and the turn lamps will illuminate if all the doors are closed..

If any of the doors are not properly closed the horn will make two quick
chirps and the lamps will not illuminate.
