The Ford racing cam specs are not available either beyond some BS duration numbers that are not measured at 0.050" and it states stock lift with a 118 lsa that may or may not be the stock value. I am likely stuck with this junk I bought so I may as well use it but I am going to make some sob story to try and send it all back. I won't bother with a blower on these junk rods and pistons these engines have. Install my headers and leave it.

My thing is why these videos posted show these cams loping so badly at idle... the bloody things are tiny. I mean 200/212 duration on a 116 Lsa. .. that could be stock. I have used this comparison already but take a LQ4 6 liter used in the 2003 to 2007 3/4 and 1 ton gm trucks. It's cam duration is 196/207 on a 116 Lsa stock... and trust me... they don't lope lol. That extra 4 degrees on the intake and 5 on the exhaust is negligible. I have an ISKY cam for my one 6 liter and it's 212/212 on a 112 lsa.... it also does not lope and is a much larger profile than these cams I have for this 6.2.

I don't care if my truck lopes or not. ... hell I prefer that it doesn't honestly. But with as mild as these cams I have are I am failing to see how they do unless you are really ******** the idle airflow up lol. It's always been Ford... lol.

With thousands running Superchargers on Raptors I haven't seen one that threw a rod.
Other than that one company did with the Pro Charger back in 2011.

650 to 700 fwhp seems to work just fine.

IT"S ALL IN THE TUNE!

650 hp... isn't that cute lol. I'm not interested. I am just not going to fight with stuff with very limited aftermarkets.

So go for the 700 fwhp Whipple package.

Have you driven in a Supercharged Raptor?

And to be honest it sounds like you bought the wrong vehicle.

Don't own a Raptor so that really doesn't matter to me..... driven a lot of high power stuff. My trucks are just fine as trucks. I just like to mod stuff... but well. .. modding this thing is an uphill battle. No info, proprietary stuff and limited availability. It is what it is. Really I have other vehicles I should be focusing on and will shift this focus. I really like my one truck of the two 6.2 F150's I own and thought what the heck. But to swap heads that had a quick dremel job with basically stock gm truck cams on... meh. Just not a big push for that and gives me the feeling I will end up with so so results. If i knew the specs ahead of time... I would not have bothered....If i am stuck with the parts i will install but otherwise they can go back and I will dump the cash in my turbo bucket. Selling them privately would be a waste of time with the usual pennies on the dollar insult offers.

Just wanted to jump in here to gather some info.

I'm sure we could get ahold of stock cam specs. But I'm curious why you are disappointed with camshafts that had 12+ months of cooperative r+d because you dont like the specs you measured out?

These engines have a great deal of unique requirements involved when developing parts for them. With that being said, these cams are on the smaller side our of necessity for proper drivability, and a broad powerband. As it is our number one phone call on these cams is for advice on tuning them. They are choppy enough that most tuners cannot figure them out.

But, getting back to the point at hand, you cannot make any evaluation for a camshaft set and how it will idle on paper. There is far more to cam specs then @.050, lift, and LSA.

We are the only one that I know that even do camshafts for these beyond the FRPP ones. To our knowledge every raptor built with aftermarket camshafts have been our cams, weather we did the engine or not.

Edit: I did verify, the l&m build did have our camshafts in it as well as other engine parts designed and produced by us. So yes, we are the only ones with camshafts for these

Since I can't be bothered even giving you guys the time of day after talking to you I will just say this. How about you just post your cam specs or divulge them when asked? Avoid a lot of issues. And as for the rest of what you have said... please. Go talk to some newb that doesn't know what a cam is or how they work in conjunction with things like pistons lacking valve reliefs... and cylinder heads that flow extremely well both intake and exhaust...

If I can't sell this junk I will just scrap it.

I guess I just operate differently in how I make decisions on what I purchase. From reading your post it just sounded like you went into the purchase looking for a way to discredit us. You've already posted about trying to come up with a lie to try to return them. You've also criticized them without ever using them, or having anything to compare them against.

We always want our customers to be happy, but it just seems like there is an ulterior motive behind all of this. Obviously, I hope I am wrong, but just being negative about the product won't help anyone.

So what can we do to help you?

Nothing. I already talked to you. Sales are final.. it's supposedly a "custom" order which was funny as when I bought them you mentioned just being "out of stock" but of course afterwards it's custom... Discredit? Yes... I am going to spend this.much money with you on the sole intention of trying to discredit you lol... what a joke. I should have cancelled when I had the chance because the specs were " proprietary" but i said no, i will give it a whirl. I can't be bothered with cams this small and heads that look like you rammed a dremel in for the price you charge. Oh did i mention absolutely zero paperwork with my order? If they are so "custom" why do i get no flowbench numbers beyond of course what you advertise on the website. Or things like torque specs for all the fastners... proof you have some qa/qc of some form or another? From what i got from you i could have stock phasers and cams for all i know. Two big empty boxes with just parts and a generic pamphlet about nothing regarding what i have. Even simple things like torque specs for your head studs at least lol. There is nothing you can do unless of course you want this stuff back... but you don't. I don't really care to go around and say anything beyond right here and it will die if you let it.

I am quite serious when I say we always want to help our customers out. I am just trying to find out where there is something I can help you with.

Our Heads are all finished by hand after the CNC work is completed, so you will see hand work done to them. Our cams are installed so proper geometry and tip height is done as well. In addition to that we test the actuation and travel of the phaser with our limiters. We also have torque specs for the fasteners as well.

This is all that I am trying to do is get to the bottom of it, and assist you in any way that I can. But you have a proven product, and the Livernois name has been long associated with quality and performance. We aren't going to put out some garbage, do a cash grab, and then say tough luck. I know that's different than almost anyone else in the performance world. But we want to be here for generations to come.

We don't want anything to "die" or "go away" we want to help.
