Startup Misfire

I have the same issue on my '12 since day 1, went away for awhile and then did it again yesterday. I don't think it's a big issue and it only does it in the morning so I don't want the Dealer messing with it.

You may need to get your eyes checked, as it's not "jerking off". It's tossing a ball. Look again. Secondly, the "damsel in distress" is not such. That woman, the member on this board, her and I love each other and although separated for career/work purposes...there are a few things happening here.

1.) Every time Ms. MI posts a post regarding ANYTHING, there are ALWAYS sexually directed comments. EVERY.TIME. I get it that this board is dominated by Men, but being the Men that we are, we need to control our ****** attachments. Whether she and I are in a relationship or it's another woman on the board -- I'd feel the same. Disrespect and treatment like a steak wearing heels...Shit get's old real quick.

2.) My house is not made of glass.

I could be wrong since its been a while. The rough run on cold startup is due to timing or cold start strategy. It can be more noticeable in temperatures below freezing. I believe this was in an SSM when they released the 6.2 L. hope this helps you guys out.

It is not as bad with the diablo tuner but truthfully I have not drove it enough to determine. I get dirty and don't want the truck looking like crap so I drive the old 91. But now that I'm thinking of it I will pay attention the next time I'm on the interstate.

btt- Is there a TSB or anything on this. I have less than 1K on my 2012 and it does this about every other time it's started in the morning.

On mine, the truck shakes for a few seconds, than smoothes out. Not too worried about it, but would like to have a solid answer of WHY it does it, and if there is a fix.

2012, no mods, 3rd tank of fuel, mid grade fuel. TIA

Good bump. Started it up after filling up today. Real poor start. Cranked and then truck came to life a second or two delayed. Very weird. Not the first time though. I seem to be having a similar issue to what Treypal had. Can't remember the fix now. Oh, and 2012 raptor with only 8k miles
