I've been working with Skyler from Rigid and he mentioned they had some problems with a recent batch of bad breathers in some of the duallys which caused the leakage. I now have to send all my lights back to get fixed and while this is a pain, at least they are paying for shipping. I wish they would just send me the new set and let me send my others back to save time, even if they charged and refunded my ccard.

Bottom line for me.. I like the lights when they work, but this is becoming a pretty big hassle.

I had the same thing on my 20" - they originally wanted to ship it back (1 week), repair it (1-2 weeks) and ship it back to me (1 week) = another 3-4 weeks wait.

I talked with a different guy and he was really nice and took care of it - he sent a tag, as soon as I returned the defective one he shipped me out a new one and its en route now. Hopefully it works OK. I tested all of the others and they are OK.

Hopefully they have gone though the bad bach of breathers or whatever the issue was.

i'll keep a lookout for your stuff after 2-3 years.

if those use the led's i think they are using, the quality difference of the 'expensive' lights will quickly become evident when those cheap '3w' led's those bars use start burning out.

the entire LED section of hidplanet learned the hard way with this years ago-- buy the cheap no-name led's, and plan on replacing the stuff later when the led's start burning out.

both rigid industries and baja designs use cree brand led's-- made in america, and quality standards much higher then the chinese knockoffs(the price difference reflects this).

Cree is a US company but their LED manufacturing is in China.

I have had a few issues with my duallies, but Taylor at Rigid was quick to fix the problems with zero cost to me (paid shipping both ways too). My 20" has performed flawlessly for a year and a half as well. I recently broke the light bracket on the 20", and I emailed Taylor for a cost on a new one. His response "We made it, it broke, I'll replace it for free". Talk to him directly, and you will see that he is a stand up business guy, who stands behind his products.

You're ******* kidding me! That **** Sucker charged me for a whole new ******** set!
I've been nice to those Mother ******* until now. He told me when mine fell off last year that I must have been really roughing it up. I laughed and said "Yeah it's a Raptor. Credit card charged and I'm sure he is still laughing!
