Starting off bad

Brand new 25 raptor , not even 50 miles with charging system warning light . Serpentine belt flys off and coolant line pops off ! 50 miles on the truck wtf ! Now have to tow the truck to the dealer . The whole reason I bought new was to avoid all this ! So pissed right now .

Sorry to hear the bad luck. One would think they'd do some kind of pre-delivery inspection.

Belt popped off for some reaon, alternator and water pump don't spin with no belt. Hopefully it's that simple. Put it back on and see what happens.

Sorry to hear about the issues with your new truck. Let's hope it's a quick fix related to a minor issue or oversight. What color, equipment group, etc., and where are the pics? Since you only have 50 miles on it, I would think dealership parking lot pics will be acceptable for now...lol.

It’s a 25 shelter green , no moonroof , 37 package , Oem bed liner .

Sucks, but better to happen now, than out on a trail with no cell service.

Which reminds me to order a spare engine belt for runs.

Did you test drive it before driving off the lot? No precursor issues; belt squeal, wobbling or loose belt while the engine running?

I know you’re probably pretty upset right now but this is a minor thing that any manufacturer / stealership could miss. They’ll fix it and you’ll be back to normal in no time.

No never drove , had the truck shipped to me . First was the engine check light no noise then noise and belt fall off . I’m thinking something is misaligned or something difinetly wrong . The dealer said they test drove it , it had 29 miles when I received it . I thought that was odd maybe was having issues from day one .

thats a long joyri..... er test drive. the belt came of and probably knocked the lines loose.
