Well finally got through all 28 pages.

What did I learn....

Don't really need aftermarket springs. I will work with some local shops on the OE ones to set up my needs

Gonna go out on a ledge here and make a statement that all aftermarket progressive leaf packs will sack out at some point in time based on use and weight. They're designed to give you that softer feel and with that come trade offs. If that's a risk some aren't willing to take, stick with the stockers. I've personally sacked out a set and the manufacturer replaced them when I wasn't expecting them to do so.

For what it's worth, I've heard of a couple other manufacturers having pins fail as well. I have no agenda (as others seem to), therefor I won't say whose but just throwing that one out there.

Where are you seeing this? First I've seen anything about this and it's pretty alarming for those of us with RPG products if it's true

There was a voluntary recall on some of the pins back at the end of 2012. Apparently they were breaking then, and they are still breaking now.
Im sure there's more broken ones out there, but it worked out to a "we will fix it if you remain quite about it kinda deal" at least thats what I've heard from a couple of people that broke there's and didn't want to talk publically about it.

Is Heather's the same truck it shows on WSI website? Silver SCREW.

Do you know the perch setting that truck is at? What I am trying to determine is I would like to maintain my level ride height. I am at mid perch and 100% level. The SD springs say a lift of 1.5" is that with the lift bock removed?

Yes Heathers truck is the Silver Screw. Mid perch with the SD springs and a 1.5" synergy drop shackle.

I'm rolling my eyes at the same salesman bs we were all fed on the nationals being regeritated now on the deavers.... Which were not even a player in the game a year ago??
Not installed on a Raptor, but between myself and a few friends, we've had Deavers on a few trucks, including a class 8 truck, and haven't experienced any sagging.

They also changed the given installment specs to have full weight on the truck when torquing the mounting bolts, Unlike the supplied instructions from RPG to not have at full droop, but not have full weight on the springs.
I've never personally seen the RPG instructions, but that is not right. Suspension parts can be lightly snugged without the vehicle weight on them, but they should be fully torqued with the full weight of the vehicle. Parts on a solid rear axle can be lowered off a jack/hoist and torqued, but for front suspension parts, the vehicle should be slightly rolled back and forth on the ground or set down on movable pads like what's on an alignment rack and the suspension jounced a bit before torquing them. Long story short... final torque should be done at final ride height.

I love my WSI springs. I just need to install a drop shackle to reduce the rake. My stock ones died after 20K miles. Rich, just get some springs from Jimmy. His service has always been great.

I know. But you tow with yours. I run empty and want a plush ride. After talking to people, it sounds like Jimmy's are a little stiffer spring. I think I'm going to go the inexpensive route now and just have the Nationals re-arched while I continue to be on the lookout for a soft riding progressive spring that can maintain it's arch. Maybe that doesn't exist. Sounds like a lot of the guys that have long term experience in this stuff say that's just part of the game. I know some of them are vendors but these are guys whose knowledge I've come to trust. My frustration was born out of my own ignorance of what was involved with the maintenance side of this suspension.

This setup was awesome before the springs started sagging and I really just want to go back to that if I can. There's a spring shop in Tulsa that quoted $150 to re-arch them. In the big picture, that's really not that bad.

Why are you calling yourself ignorent? Sure, the springs need maintenance and its the trade off when it comes to performance. But when did RPG ever tell you the springs need maintenance? It seems they were always saying the opposite and hyped up how well these springs would resist sagging. But now its like we're all a bunch of ******* idiots for not knowing these springs will need work as often as once a year. Did they happen to tell you they need yearly maintenance when you bought them? Did they tell anyone? Of course not. If they were up front about it and said from the start expect these to sag every year they wouldn't have sold nearly as many. Don't give into these crooks and let them fool you into thinking they're the innocent ones and you're the dumb one.
