This is from directly below. As you can see the shock tube is in a direct path to interfere with the spring.

Makes you wonder how long its been like that.. Probably awhile. Your truck will be a whole nother animal with a drive side working shock and a good set of springs. Raptoberfest better watch out!

Interesting thread. I'm following along to see where it ends up (likely derailed since Rich is in here :)). Currently, I'm most likely gonna go with WSI springs when I'm ready to drop the $$. Like everyone else, my only problem with the factory rear both on and off-road is the excessive wheel hop due to the lift block instead of a legit full leaf pack.

Madcow, you're definitely acting as long term extreme testing for a lot of these mods. Thanks for sharing your experiences along with everyone else who's provided input. Not only do you drive it like you stole it, but you drive it like you stole it and you have a personal vendetta against the fictional original owner who committed an unforgivable offense against you and your loved ones. :burnout:
