Spec-D LED tails installed, love them!

Good info in this thread. I found this set on eBay. It looks to be the same as the other "Spyder"-like Phillips lights, but in the Red Smoked color. Thinking about pulling the trigger since the price is right, they claim they're DOT stamped, and don't have as much chrome.

Yes bought the same light, but with out red sides. Yes, Mine came stamped DOT SAE.


I have heard the smoked tails, might NOT be DOT Compliant.

Wish those were more of a matte red and they would be dope.

I had a set of smoked red. Frankly they just looked like a dark maroon color. Good light held up well. No one is going to come out with a very dark color due to tons of risk issues.

I went with the Spec D because i'm not a fan of that cheap looking chrome in the light. Nice lights though.
