You can convert routes you create on Google maps to GPX format which Motion X along with other apps use. Just use this GPS Visualizer: Convert GPS files to plain text or GPX. Just click GPX format and it will convert it. On the next page there will be a link to download the file.
None of this is needed for this run as I'll email out the files already converted. I can't remember if I sent you the files yet as a few guys have asked for them. If not, just pm me your email and I'll send them over.
The only downloading you will need to do is download the map area with the motion x app. All you do is go to -setup-map downloads-download new maps-motion x road and you'll see this
And you just make sure the circle covers the route and then hit download. By downloading the map of the area ahead of time it will allow the app to continue working with out cell service. The GPS receiver still works but it just can't download the map to overlay the route over without cell service. This solves that problem.
I'm planning on getting to the meet spot early so if your having any trouble setting it up I can help.

Yep, it's under setup not settings. Just hit the menu button and then setup.
There is no setup off the menu button!! I've looked everywhere.

So we end up in South Lake Tahoe on Sunday night. I have seen any disscusion of spending the the night there. I plan to. Anyone else?

I might stay the night and drive back Monday morning. If I do most likely I will stay at Harvey's or Harrah's. but still not 100%

I was planning to but I just started a new job so it's a bit early to take a day off.
Ill get it to you this evening. I haven't had a chance to convert the final file yet.
