anyone else thinking about camping out saturday night? I'm thinking it might not be the best idea with how hot it might still be by august

There's camping out near Fort Churchill. If you or anyone else wants to, you could camp there and we'll meet you there in the morning.

Bigg50, thank you for finding this trail, I can't wait for the August 3rd weekend trip, gonna be awesome.
As for camping, it would be cool, but I think the heat will suck. I'd be down for a later in the year. fall time frame for a camping trip of this trail. But I'm looking forward to heading to Brew Brothers in the Silver legacy. I love beer!

I think I might go to the fort churchill camping spot, it sounds nice, only 20 sites plus the group area so I'm thinking it'll be nice and quiet out there, I'll be the guinea pig to see if it would be a good place to camp for future runs, I don't drink or gamble, so nothing really attracts me to staying in reno, unless I could camp out in cabela's, that would be awesome

That works...that area is about 30 to 40 minutes away from the hotel we are staying at, and we are going to be starting at the 95 near the race track (39.291930, -118.782991) and them coming towards the camp grounds (39.284556, -119.242529). We'll be taking the Simpson rd/Pony Express between 95s...last Bigg50 and I talked...

Damnit, is it Aug 3rd already?!?!?!!? OMG, this month wit is going to suck! Yesterdays run was awesome! Can't wait to pair it with the first run and getting to meet and hang out with some fine FRF folks...lets do this already!
That looks like the same sand box we went to last year.
