Beat on by the sun yes, also what some refer to as lot rot. It's nothing that can't be detailed out. I bought a Mitsubishi evo that was on the lot for about a year. i should say the production date was a year earlier than the date I bought it so how long it was on the lot I don't exactly know or remember now. Dirt, parking lot grime dust etc was evident in the gas cap housing area especially. Obvious that in power spraying the car weekly it all found it's way into that spot. They never even opened that gas flap door I'm sure. That stuff gets in nooks and crannies etc. Yes it's a truck and can be cleaned, but it's also a year old battery. Batteries like to be used and not just sitting. I'm sure they start them up and run them at idle. You get my point.

If was me, I'd go new unless they give you a great deal and maybe extend the warranty on the battery. But they won't do that I'm sure. They'll tell you you are saving so much money on their deal if you need to buy one early, take it out of the savings you just saved. Anyway, something to think about.

tx accessory is probably an overpriced add on they did... like paint and leather protector or tinted windows or something lame to make more money of off you.

I was seeing invoice for 2020s at the end of last year into early this year. I'd look out of state and pick up a 2020 if invoice is all they'll do on a 2019. Like mentioned before, it's been on the lot for a while and it's 1 year older than a 2020 if/when you are looking to sell it. I'm in Cali too and didn't bother looking around here for one. People think they are made of gold and charge too much.

I read the reviews on this dealership before calling and they did say they had a tendency to do that. It didn’t help that I could barely understand the gentleman on the phone because of his heavy accent.

Ive already contacted another dealer who seems to be more transparent, at least currently and has a comparable 2020 for less, minus a bedliner and moonroof.

Do you all think that the confirmation of a 2021 raptor will drive down 2020 prices? Even at this date into 2020?

depends whats in it. the rumor is the supercab is going away and we still dont know what powerplant it will have. if they did the 7.3 v8 that people keep talking about i think it would hurt values of the 2017-2020 but i doubt ford will be doing that. if they keep a very similar setup to what they have now there's not reason for a big value drop.

That makes sense. I’d probably kick myself for not waiting if they did happen to reveal a v8. Not because of the v8 but because the money lol. I’m partial to the bigger screen on the 2021s they mentioned. I also wonder if the raptor will have the “first class” seats, not that that’s a selling point for me.

Hey folks posting again, didn’t want to revive my old thread so I thought I’d start a new one. Hopefully that isn’t against the rules..
Against the rules? Are you serious? There aren’t any rules in this forum. I could post a video running my granny over as she returns from shopping and so long as I don’t spill my beer in my cup holder I can expect a ton of likes.
