Hoping I feel this way too! My TRX is a blast especially in the dirt. That’s where the power becomes really fun. Optimistic that the better shock setup paired with the power give me the off-road performance I feel like the TRX falls slightly behind

The only area I feel the TRX excels at is the low-end power. Everything else, the Raptor does better.

Hoping I feel the same way. It’s a lot more money for the R. My TRX has been a really great truck. Will miss the front end styling and some of the interior bits but think the R will serve me better overall.

I use my TRX, and will use the R heavily offroad so that is why I’m making the switch. Parts availability and aftermarket options on top of the already better offroad performance should make the purchase worth it.

Now for the fun of getting it prepped for chasing/prerunning in Baja. Have wheels and billet parts already ordered, full ppf being installed the day I get it, plus race radio and some lights to start.

Switching/swapping vehicles is like being addicted to drugs. From 2015-2022 I bought and traded at least 15 new vehicles, so many I can’t remember them all. I do know it included 7 new Porsches. Not because I’m wealthy, because as I’ve said many times I was stupid. OP says he traded when radio sub expired. I traded a few Porsches because of color or lack of sport plus. I traded 4 raptors because I didn’t like the color.

I’m so glad I got over that. Every once in a while it starts to creep back and my wife is an enabler which makes it very difficult to resist. So far so good. My 22 Raptor just turned 35k miles. I haven’t had a vehicle with that many miles in over ten years. And I still love it.

Former President Jimmy Carter once said he had lust in his heart. Is there anyone here who, when they see a hot woman, wouldn’t want to do her, regardless of how happily married you may be? I’m not saying I, or you, would, but we want to.
Same with the R. Any Raptor owner lusts after that truck. I know I do. I happened to drive my wife’s Cayenne GTS yesterday, 4 liter V8 Twin Turbo. When you step on it on the highway it’s scary fast. And the pops and burbles that come out of the quad exhaust are intoxicating.
Same with the exhaust note of the R and the Gen1 for that matter.
All that aside, my lowly 35” Gen3 is still an awesome truck and I really love not having car payments.

Huge fan of all raptors(f150) and gave a thumbs up to everyone I see on the road. Bullying the trxs on the road is an added bonus
