You guys are nuts. 0-60 in 3.5 ain't slow for a 3 ton truck. Came from a 18 and now 24 R. Gas wasn't that much better in the 18... 100% to each their own and we all drive our own road. I'll be driving my road in an R
Never said it was slow, as I stated (for me) the power isn't at the low end. Enjoy your R---I did for sure in spurts.

After driving a 24 R this is my biggest concern. I have a TRX and my R will be here in the next week. The TRX is fun as hell because of its low end grunt. It feels fast all the time and in afraid of being bored unless I’m at WOT.

After driving a 24 R this is my biggest concern. I have a TRX and my R will be here in the next week. The TRX is fun as hell because of its low end grunt. It feels fast all the time and in afraid of being bored unless I’m at WOT.
It's definitely missing the low end grunt, you really need to get it high revving to get that feeling. I thought I could get over it, but in the end for daily (for me) will never have that 'feel fast all of the time' and if I can't have that might as well get '37 for DD. Again my .02.

I like the "lack" of power in the low end. It allows the truck to be driven like an EB 3.5 without getting into the supercharger much, that's how the higher mpgs are accomplished

After owning a ‘22 37PP and now a ‘24 R, I feel the R is something special. Although a lot of people like to talk trash about the 3.5 EB engine, I think it’s a great engine that provides enough power for what 90% of owners will do with them. When I took delivery of my R and was driving it causally during the break-in mileage, I was having second thoughts about whether the R was worth the extra money over my ‘22. Those feelings quickly went out the window after doing my first event with the truck. It is such a riot with the extra power, it’s like driving a banshee in a way. Yes, you have to get into it to feel the power but when you’re not, it behaves like a civil truck.

Hoping I feel this way too! My TRX is a blast especially in the dirt. That’s where the power becomes really fun. Optimistic that the better shock setup paired with the power give me the off-road performance I feel like the TRX falls slightly behind
