So, what is the fast speed you've done in your Raptor?

I was rolling 100 then floored it to 140. took about 1/2 mile to get from 100-140...
the new motor is built for 1350hp/25psi.... this truck is perfect at 8.5-10psi & 500+rwhp...
I love this truck too much to have it breaking so I'm not EVER turning the boost up. I had John Lund put an additional limiter in @5600 and a speed limiter @ 125 cuz I can't control myself...... 4000 miles on the new motor.....

Lol, I don't know if you caught the undertones, but my line of questioning was due to disbelief. Just didn't want to outright call the guy a liar. We know around 130 is possible, but another 7-10mph nearing top speed would be difficult to see on dirt, if at all possible.

I was starting to shit my paints at that speed but was wondering if I had the room how much more room I would need to get to max speed. That is why I had the gps so I didn't have to look and I wanted proof if I crashed and burned I went that fast. I see the problem with speed is when you think your in control all I could think about is I hope a tire don't blow.

I imagine, i've done 170mph+ multiple times on the autobahn but that was in a prepped road car and wasn't all that frightening. But in this truck, with the speed limitations on certain parts, terrifying.

I had my cruise set at 102 for a solid 45 minutes headed south through Nevada on the way to SEMA. Tires got hot enough that they went from 35psi to wherever the light shuts off...
