Got the new gopro last week.
I ordered my helmet yesterday.
Plan on going to academy sometime soon to get some camping supplies as well as fire extinguisher and hopefully a tow strap.
Cant wait for the run!!!

Hmmm...want to stop in Oxford (my hometown) and pick up my bro?

LOL...halfway joking...but awesome to see another Mississippi boy in the house.

I am debating putting stock wheels and tires back on for the Texas Raptor Run.

For a couple of reasons:
1) keep from tearing up new my wheels and tires.
2) keep the side of my truck from being blasted with crap (because of offset)
3) not ripping off fenders, liners, and anything else from spirited driving (jumping)

What does everyone else think? Keep my -12mm offset wheels on for the run or put stockers on?

I have prepared for the run by purchasing the following:

tow strap with D Rings
GoPRo 2 Motorsport
Helmet
Tuner (courtesy of Five Star)
Fire Extinguisher (courtesy of Trey)
VP Racing Can
$20 Dollar Mud Flaps from Autozone!

I already had the First Aid Kit(s) and Canon DSLR with various gadgets. I saved some money by finding a already forgotten about tent, but am considering putting the money saved from that towards a CO2 tank and towards a VHF Handheld.

45 MPH. Leave the new ones on. Buy some flaps.
