Not too much, I was turning in my lease Chevy and was time for a pick-up. I told her I would settle for a H3T, or HMCO or HMC4.... She said we would look bad if we owned more than one Hummer....

So it was a F-350 or Raptor. Told her the Raptor was more fun to drive.

I did sorta kinda have to promise it will be my last new truck, and the next vehicle will have to be a 60-70's muscle car.... for her

Traded in my 05 loaded 2500 cummins 4x4 crew cab with really low miles for her a new Armada and I had to drive an altima for 6 months, then in its place got a CHEAP 02 ram 1500 single cab with almost 200k on it and drove it for a year. Had been looking at getting a new truck once we could afford the payment and I discovered the Raptor. About a month after finding the Raptor and researching them I got a pay raise and within a few days we had found my Raptor sitting on the lot 35 miles from us. Bought my '12 on 12-20-11, two days before our anniversary and 5 days before Christmas. Honestly not sure who was more excited we were finally able to afford my dream truck, me or her. She loves to spoil me when she can.

I ordered it and told her when i got home that night. She does not know about all the toys that r ordered to bolt on when it gets here. I get her a new vehicle every other year and we have been married almost 14 years now she just knows that I make money and like toys and it will never change. Haha
