No shit, my wife's bet me on a triathlon. If she won minivan...if I won raptor. I won by 8.5 seconds. There was a raptor parked in a drive about half way through the run....a sign from God.

Owning a vehicle on my must own list for six days did not satisfy the itch. Im still considering another one as my next vehicle purchase.

Reviving an old thread but I laughed and maybe some of the newer guys like myself would like to add.
I went to a race in 2009 and saw the Raptor at the Ford booth. My brother in law and I were like kids looking at the truck and I decided someday I would own one. One failed marriage later I spent my time in the sandbox and came back to build an Fx4 as I wanted a nice truck. Built it and realized the Raptor wasn't much more so why the hell not. Now my GF sees parts boxes and shakes her head but doesn't question what I do.
