I just ordered the RPG Prerunner and can't decide between the Baja OnX Pro (22") or VisionX Xmitter Prime Xtreme (21") in the skid plate location.

Baja OnX Pro (22") >> 12,900 Lumens
VisionX Xmitter Prime Xtreme (21") >> 17,784 Lumens

I am leaning towards the VisionX as the my Prerunner will be tabbed for 5 VisionX light canons, so keeping all the lights the same. But the OnX pro does intrigued me.

Opinions?

Not knowing the price difference, the Lumen output makes for an easy answer!!!

17.8K lumens > 12.9K lumens all day long...:happy160:

Don't forget lumens are such a small part of a lights overall brightness. Optics are a huge part, as well heat management and bulb quality/bin quality.

In many different comparisons done by BD as well as other companies and forum members the OnX outshines the competition even with way lower lumen ratings.

A helpful way I realized this was when our head engineer explained that the same "HID bulb" used in our 4" Fuego HID and our 8" LaPaz HID puts out roughly 3200 Lumens.

But we all know that the 8" light has more useable light then the 4". This is due to the size of the light source/bulb relative to the reflector and how much more light can be truly captured.

Has BD compared the output of the 22" ONX Pro to the 21" Vision Xmitter Extreme? I would love to see output photos. I went back & forth between these two before I chose & with excellent quality in both, lumen output was the deciding factor.
