So here is the long drawn out story-

I ordered the Stealth ADD front bumper with 40" LED bar and Warn powerplant (thats the 12k lbs. winch and built in air compressor) back at the 1st of August.

My only demand was it be done and delivered before my trip to West Texas last weekend. I called Micah several times to remind him, he called me on Sept. 16th to tell me it was scheduled to be built the 28th, even though I needed it by the 22nd, and I reminded him of those calls. He told me he remembered something about that and would get it done and to me. He calls me on the 21st and guarantees me delivery on Friday( When I wanted to leave). I have my whole rig loaded up and at the shop waiting all day, and no delivery. I called him, and he gave me NOT a tracking number, but a ******** line its in bakersfield, TX, but will be delivered that day, except there is no bakersfield, tx. So, **** that shit- Im not doing business with a company that cant write down simple deadlines and follow them. This isnt a fast food order for lunch, this is big business, and if they cant do a better job taking care of their customers, I dont want to do business with them or even have their parts on my ride.
:shocked::flipthebird:
(end rant here)

Okay, so here is the deal- The whole setup was a total of 4800.00. Now, I paid part of this off with money I passed on to a job cost through my company. Its already been done, so its free money. I have two choices- I can force a return because I used the almighty AMEX for this, but I will have some accounting clean up to do, or I can sell it to one of you fine folks. I will be able to post pics when it finally arrives, and it will be on the pallet, just as I get it. I want 3500.00 OBO. I will also be willing to sell just the stealth winch bumper without the winch and/or LED bar as I will now be having someone else make me one. If no one wants- I will get AMEX to fight ADD to take it back.

Depending on WHEN it arrives and cost of shipping, I might be persuaded to take just the bumper off your hands. I've been wanting to order a bumper for my truck but I'm also one of those guys who spends weeks deliberating on what to order and then wants it right-the-hell-now when I finally do decide.

Are they giving you a "no shit" date on when you'll really have it in your hands?

I am sorry you are so frustrated. I did my best to get it to you on time, There is a Bakersfield Texas and thats what the tracking number said, I am also including a screenshot of what I am looking at, Right hand corner shows the delivery date of 9/23/11 I never bull-****** you about anything. I cannot control shipping. I am truly sorry it did not arrive on time.

Yeah, and how many times did I have to call and remind you when I needed it, and then after three seperate reminders, you call me and tell me a date well past what I repeatedly told you. You put yourself in that position. It never should have left with no time for a shipping issue. And then you had zero answers for me when I told you it wasnt there. If it were my customer, I would have said, let me get with the shipping company right now and find out what is going on, or, hey, here is the tracking number, you call them, Im busy texting a chick I wanna bang this weekend. No, all I get is- "well, the computer says it should be there today, sorry". And my response to you was what- "well, we are all gonna be sorry. " It cost me time, money, and put me in a position where I was not prepared for my event. It may cost you business.

You cant fix this issue, but I bet its a great lesson for the future. It serves as a warning for future customers who have deadlines, and for you to maybe go out and buy a post-it note booklet and a pen and write shit down from time to time.

The bumper just arrived as I was posting this- so I will have them send me pictures. Im out of pocket for the next 7 days, but will be checking back at least once or twice a day.

I have treated you with nothing but respect, and I will continue to do so. When you called late Friday you said it did not show and you were leaving town. That's why I did not call the shipping company, it was too late. Here is a screen shot of the invoice I sent you Aug 2nd Showing a ship date of 9/19/11 We are guilty of shipping it 2 days late, and yes I did call you the week before and tell you we were running a week behind on the order. You explained to me that you were leaving and had to have it, so I did my best to make it happen. My point is I did write it down, it shows in my ship date on the invoice. You are an important customer to us and we want you to be happy. I do not believe trying to bad mouth us on this forum is a good way to go about this, But you also have the right to do whatever you want. I believe we have been nothing but professional and honest.

I don't know. I ordered a full setup from ADD, and told them I needed it around the week of the 21st. Micah said he'd do everything he could to get it done and I took his word for it. In the meantime I ordered wheels and tires from him as well. Everything is on a pallet today and shipping. I don't care about the delay since their stuff is really good quality and they back up their service.

Dude seriously, 2 days is going to kill you? You see it's shipping, why would you threaten to call American Express? That's a d-bag move if I've ever heard one. Try working with the company first. Ranting and giving them the finger on a public forum for a minor delay is pointless.

Basically what I'm saying is: ADD makes the nicest looking aftermarket bumpers for the Raptor on the market. You already know this. When you see it on your truck you won't regret it. If it's an issue of affording it, fine, you can't afford it, but don't bash the company openly like this.

Good luck.

I don't think Dubbs did anything wrong here. He is an unsatisfied customer and he has every right to post up his reviews (yes, I read this post as a review) of his experiences with his past purchases. Obviously, he laid down some money to have his bumper built scheduled well ahead of the date he needed it. 2 days? Well, 2 days late even though he had ordered it over a month and a half ago?

First of all, ADD (never experienced with this company) should have never shipped it out so late. However, they did it and there's no taking that back. What's done is done. I think the problem here is how the situation was handled. Throw the guy a bone, maybe?

I, also, have no doubt in my mind that ADD reps handled this situation professionally but it is very unprofessional to disclose a customer's information on a public forum??

I'm sure ADD's quality is second to none but quality and customer service go hand in hand. Had I done business with ADD in the past, I could provide a more informative opinion. But what the hell do I know?

Just my $0.02.

Good luck to both parties. Hopefully, this will be sorted out sooner than later.

Put me on the list dude! I drive down to San Antonio often. When it comes in, let me know.
