Hey all,

I've just picked up a 2020 Raptor. I'm new in this arena, having spent a few years wrenching/building Jeeps. Please forgive what might come across as naivety or just plain stupidity - but your opinions are most certainly welcome!

For fun, I just ordered the Icon UCA's, the new Fox 3.0 Live Valve racing shocks (front and rear), and RPG tie-rods. Still researching other bits, like bumpers, intercoolers, and what to do about the rear. I might bump up to 37's, but haven't decided yet.

For hours today I've read all of (hopefully) the posts on slot delete options, and why you should do it. It seems like the only two available options for average-joe (me) are the KHC kit for around $300 and the Rogue kit for around $500. The KHC seems to add a bit more support, but I don't plan on hammering the hell out of this thing.

My question is - are these indeed the only two options available? Any pros/cons I'm missing other than what seems like the simplicity of the Rogue kit vs the robustness of the KHC kit?

For what it's worth, Rogue's website sure makes it hard to order their kit. I shot them an email to let them know the checkout process seems broken.

Thanks for your input!

Ryan

What exactly are you looking to accomplish. The slot delete does two things, it locks the lower control arms in place so you can set alignment from the adjustable Icon UCA's you bought and provide a gusset reinforcement for that LCA mount. If your not going to romp in the desert, there no use for the shocks and arms your buying. If you just want the LCA locked there is a bolt kit that locks the LCA in place for 1/2 the price.

There are definately a few options that will accomplish locking the lowers in place. If you are running mild offroad then the stage 1 is fine. With our kit the big different is the rear LCA support that connects the swaybar mount to the rear LCA mount to help the LCA from want to bent the mount rearwards. I have fixed a lot of them and have seen this mount bend very easily. It doesnt make our kit better than others just offers a different solution.
