Slight movement when in placing in park

When hitching my trailer, I put it in park when the camera shows the ball right under the hitch, without the parking brake it will move about 2 inches away from hitch - quite frustrating.

I have about 0.5" of clearance when I park in the garage. Thus, I have to pull all the way in to where the front bumper is basically resting against the wall. I found out the hard way (closed the garage door on the rear bumper) that setting the parking brake is necessary to prevent the vehicle from rolling back a few inches after selecting park. Now I pull in, stop & hold the brake, set parking brake, select park.
