69Mach1,

Read your pullout pamphlet in the manual case, It gives you a quick break down of what all the settings do.
It's one of the 4 nannies Ford has in place to keep you safe.
Also if you do a spinout/360 on the highway, and your in off-road mode, it's all on you. If they find out that is.
I believe it states somwhere in the manual "Do Not Use Off-Road Mode on the Public Streets or Highways".

PropDr,

This would be something someone needs to try, the truck does look for the position of the lockers.
Or the current/voltage of the wires going to the diffs.
Having it hook up to an uplifter switch would be simple that's for sure, just don't know what/if any error codes it might throw.

Thanks! I've read that before, but it's been awhile. So basically the locker will only stay locked if you're in ORM.

Yup, now if you keep blasting on it locked and normal mode, you wouldn't give it a chance to disengage.

ORM was designed strictly for desert running period. It's no good for anything else.

But what Skyl3r needs or anybody doing that kind of romping around,
you need the ability to lock the breaks and throttle thus giving the diff a chance to unlock and lock,
the rear would not hold up to much that way.
