Simple: recommended oil and filter for Gen2?

SoCal mild weather. Light driving, mostly street queen. What's the go-to recommendation for oil and a filter? I'm finding it shockingly hard to get a simple answer (is it "5w-30, full synthetic, any brand you like, whatever filter fits"?).

16k miles in my case (so broken in), this will be third oil change ever. Zero issues with the truck in it's life.

I honestly think most decent oils will do. Just don’t go for that Walmart stuff.

I personally only use amsoil.

FWIW, I run Amsoil 5-30 SS at 5k mile intervals with a Ford filter.

Amsoil or rotella are my go to

Amsoil 5w30 and Motorcraft filter. Every 5k miles

Most important- check your oil every 1k and change regularly.

You could do oil analysis too if you want to be sure.
