Hoping to make this. Havent been there in 15 years or so, riding quads. Blew mine up with in the first few hours of being there. Lesson dont jet your quad on pavement for max power to run in the sand. Damn wheel spin:). Ended up taking my dakota out there and getting drunk all weekend. Hopefully I can redeem myself with the Raptor.

We had a group convoying out of Chicago last time. We picked up guys in northern Indiana along the way around Lake Michigan. We'd love to have you if you are interested in driving up with some more trucks!

That would be cool. I see a few Raptors down here in the Zionsville area if they have any interest maybe we can run a group. If not I can just meet up with you. As it gets closer we can talk. Thanks again for the offer.

We're going to split into multiple groups for the trails to avoid needing permits. What Is the max you can have at once?

~THE GENERAL~

Since you asked.

The max is 15 trucks total. The whole thing. 1 group or 90 groups it doesn't matter.

Also charging or selling anything puts you into permit category right away. Ie having participants purchase placards no matter who they are from = you need to have a permit. Shirts? Permit

Needing a permit needs the following. Insurance, Business or a club. Plus a fire plan, safety plan etc. All of which I would 100% recommend with or without a permit.

By doing 15+ trucks on the ORV routes without permits you could not only create a large safety concern for other vehicles on the routes but also jeopardize the future of all offroad events. Not including potential lawsuits from the MI DNR.

Well sounds like we either need to start planning to work and get permits, or hold a lottery for 15 trucks to do trails.

Or start a list for who will just do dunes, and who wants to do trails or both.
