And you're gonna build a fence in front of your new house, correct?

Everytime you see Ring camera video of a crime, they never seem to have any kind of barrier. Any nutjob, criminal, or homeless guy can step up to your door. In 2024, that's no longer acceptable, IMHO. Even in a cr ap neighborhood like mine, nobody can touch my house unless they scale a fence; and at that point, they're getting shot or bit.
The rest of my property is already fenced.

Last July, a homeless guy dragged his shltbox trailer up here and parked it on vacant land 200' from my fence. It took 30 days to get the gubmint & LE to force him to leave. It was certainly annoying to have a stranger camping in the dark in sight of my house, but at least I knew, that he knew, I was prepared 24/7 for an intruder.

I cannot imagine what it's like for homeowners in places like Venice, CA, where the sidewalk in front of $2M homes is now a homeless camp; and the owners are expected to accept that while paying $25K in property taxes.
