That's pretty neat. I always wondered why falcons? Just pets or is there a use case for them that helps make something in life easier? Cool pic regardless.

Its for a very old sport of arabs called Falconry where you use falcons to hunt birds and pigeons, and others compete on how fast your falcon can catch a bird.. There is even a local championship league for it in our region with fat rewards.

You raise your falcon from the egg to a fully grown up falcon and teach him how to hunt, its pretty entertaining to watch and practice.

Well, then you are not a very good trainer and you had it coming j/k but seriously we train and teach them that food is always with the trainer, no matter what he catches, at first we train them on hunting bird feathers (yes, feathers) that are tied to a rope called (Telwah) that we keep swinging so the falcon comes to it, and if he succeed then we feed him an already caught bird as a reward which we have in cages inside the trucks. and after months of training then we train them on hunting real flying birds in the wild. Also there are some cases where the falcon flew away and never returned but thats why we have a GPS chip clipped on his back just incase.
