Good luck with the lemon law. Here in good ole Alabama you would be hard press to find stealership to sell you a vehicle without you signing an arbitration agreement saying you agree to go to arbitration if you encounter any issues that cannot be re-solved between you, the buyer and the selling dealership. As Scooby mentions above, it will be a long dragged out process.

(off subject- but I really can't blame dealerships for having buyers sign an arbitration agreement, especially in this state were they awarded the Firm & it's client $4M for a screwed up paint job, that's just plain crazy to me. )

Damn man.....didn't your first truck have issues also?

Yup at 37 miles coolant was coming out of the block. It was a bad casting.

Hi srt10viper,

As others have suggested, I'll be happy to look into this and see how I can help. To get the ball rolling, PM me your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, mileage, and servicing dealership. I'll get to work. :)

Crystal

Ok thanks. I'll get the info for you tonight. The latest thing is the ford field engineer said that it was a bad transfer case from ford. This will be the third one now.

I was at a fund raiser last night with the attorney general of Maryland and told him what was going on. He said that he would personally help me and I would have no problem getting it bought back.

It took 3 transfer cases, 2 diffs, and 2 sets of axles, hubs, and IWE before mine magically stopped banging and popping out of 4wd. The last diff that came was in a box with no part numbers.

Well the service manager called yesterday. 3 transfer cases, 1 set of axles, drained the front dif and it was ok, new IWE on passenger side and it STILL makes the popping noise. He said Ford has no clue on what to do next. I keep telling these guys to put in new IWE's ON BOTH sides, new hoses and wiring harness, BUT NO THATS NOT WHAT FORD WANTS TO DO. I told him from the beginning that I DID NOT FEEL THE BANG FROM THE TRANSFER CASE OR THE DIF. IT IS AT THE CORNERS WHERE THE WHEELS ARE. The problem is the air lines or wiring harness. It is in 4wd then pops out into 2wd then VIOLENTLY goes back into 4WD. I asked if they did a leak down test on the air lines and no one knows. WHAT A JOKE…. 24 days in the shop and counting….

I guess lemon law is the only thing now.

You need to get the help from this person and get on with it... Your truck is not a test mule!! Do it do it now. Make the call in the morning to the person who said they would help while it is fresh on their mind because politicians forget$$. Let this be someone else's problem...
